Abstract / Summary: "With my solo project I would like to build an arch demonstrating the influences of European on Brazilian music and vice versa. In my music there are the sounds of the traditional Brasilian waltz and choros in old and new compositions, within a framework of samba, baiao, jazz Â and classical. I wish to thank all those in Germany and Brazil who have inspired and influenced me, and of course those who have supported me with this CD. Johannes Deffner"
