Just as the men took me out into the forest for music, so a group of women wanted equal time to record their songs and we spent a day in the forest together accompanied by a young man and 3 or 4 teenage boys. They sang limboku songs, as well as gano, boyobi etc. Not only young women, a fair number of older women took part. Tracks 37, 38 & 39 are the actual spear-hunting games they played (gorilla, chimpanzee). Total time: 47 1/2m.
