Review
Anne Hills has finally made an album that lives up to her promise. Her voice has gotten progressively stronger and more flexible, and her writing has grown more detailed and evocative. On this release, she comes across as a thoughtful romantic with a mature compassionate view of how each of us must work to fit in the world. Her abstract "Follow That Road" directs how to find her, but more listeners will find some of their own past in her direction. Hills has come to terms with some part of herself when she sings " Today let me eat, Today let me breathe, Today let me speak with a friend, Today let the sun shine down on my head, Til moon light shines on me again, Its enough to live." ~ Richard Meyer, All Music Guide
