- In this DVD, Michael Johnson addresses a group of residents at Crossroads Adult Transition Center in Chicago, Illinois, and challenges the group to take a serious look at their substance use and criminal lifestyles. He explores the consequences of alcohol and drug use and criminal behavior. Johnson also examines the conflict that arises during therapy between one’s former value system and the positive changes one is attempting to make and explains that this can lead to feelings of grief, loss, loneliness, despair, and self-doubt.
