- Abstract / Summary
- The Alaska Women's Oral History Project was funded through grants from the State of Alaska Department of Education, the Alaska Humanities Forum, and the Alaska Historical Commission. Additional support was provided by the Alaska Historical Society and Anchorage Community College. The purpose of the project was to collect and compile the reminiscences of pioneer Alaskan women born between 1866 and 1937. The chief interviewer for the project was Maria Brooks.
