Abstract / Summary
The National Council of Teachers of Mathematics (NCTM) Oral History Task Force established the NCTM Oral History Project in 2002. This group, chaired by Dr. David L. Roberts, is conducting a series of interviews with leaders in the mathematics education community. After conducting and recording the interviews, the tapes are transcribed and this text is reviewed and edited by the interviewee and the interviewer. This is an ongoing project, and more than sixty mathematics educators have been identified as future subjects.
