Meet Hairo, a 14-year-old boy who is fascinated by women's clothes. He spends all his time on high heals, wearing make-up and fake nails. Living in a small town with his mum, his stepfather and 3 younger brothers, this is quite the daily challenge for everyone. Hairo's mum takes her son on a trip to Brazil to meet his biological father, Marcello, who is far from happy by the vision of the dressed-up boy. The two males go through quite a dogfight, until Hairo's father comes out admitting that he himself is gay and has been working for years as a drag queen. Finally the two men find each other - as father and son.
A strong film about identity across borders and across gender.
