The Dante Troubadours: Martin Best Mediaeval Ensemble
performed by Martin Best Medieval Ensemble (Nimbus, 1982), 49 mins
I picked this one because of the melody that was playing and I was tapping along to the beat. Even though some of these didn't have words the music along with the instrument's had you playing along with the tunes.

Thys Yool: A Medieval Christmas
performed by Martin Best Medieval Ensemble (Nimbus, 1988), 1 hour 4 mins
I loved the songs on this album. It made me think of wonderful Christmas memories beinging around family and loved ones. The melodies were polyphony and Rhytmic at times in some of these songs. I enjoyed listening to quite a few, tapping and slightly dancing along.

Songs of Chivalry
performed by Martin Best Medieval Ensemble (Nimbus, 1983), 51 mins
These were a different from the other ones I chose because they had several tracks on here that I just liked the music too. The fourth track was beautiful with the instruments playing and the singers went right along with them. Although it's not one of my favorites I found, I did like the lyrics and found myself listening along to the performers.

The Last of the Troubadours: The Art and Times of Guiraut Riquier
conducted by Martin Best, 1942-; performed by Martin Best Medieval Ensemble (Nimbus, 1991), 42 mins
The songs on this track were interesting to me. The first one was him speaking and caught me off guard at first but following down and listening to the tracks were very fun filled and loved listening to the harmony as well. I see many different harmonies and in some you could even hear Rotta's in the melodies.

Hurdy Gurdy Music
(Folkways Records, 1976), 34 mins
I didn't know how I would like some of these songs most without any lyrics to them, but I have to say this album was one of my favorites I picked out. The third track on here was upbeat and you could really pay attention to him picking on the hurdy gurdy. I loved the tunes and played several of these tracks while doing several things around the house.

Gregorian Chant: Musically Speaking No.1
produced by Mildred Kayden, 1922- (Folkways Records, 1957), 43 mins
Out of all the albums on my playlist this was my favorite of all. These take me back to when I was a kid growing up and going to church every Sunday morning. I remember thinking how anyone can truly like songs like this unless your are in church. Of course now that I have become much older and wiser listening to these songs have made me realize just how much I miss going to church on Sunday mornings to listen to these beautiful hymens that we would have to sing while during mass. Such wonderful songs to listen too.
