Abstract / Summary
TITLE: Ellen [Helène] Losanitch to 'Mademoiselle,' Belgrade, 4 February 1913. DESCRIPTION: Letter by Ellen Losanitch, Third secretary of the Serbian National Women’s Alliance (Srpski narodni ženski savez) to one representative of the Hungarian Feminist Association (Feministák Egyesülete), the local organizer of the seventh congress of the International Woman Suffrage Alliance to be held in Budapest, 15-21 June 1913. Losanitch expresses thanks for the letter she has received, telling that she the related material has not yet arrived and referring to the large numbers of her “compatriots” expected to participate in the Budapest congress. However, she “infinitely” regrets that the Alliance is not in the position to send delegates because of the “inconveniences” inflicted by the Hungarian authorities on Serbian nationals traveling to Hungary recently.
