Collections: The Bingham Center collects widely in the historyof women, and currently possesses thousands of books, ephemera, and archival collections. The main collecting areasinclude: Southern women, girl culture, domestic culture, women authors and publishers, lay and ordained church women,women artists, the history of feminist theory and activism, women's sexuality and gender expression, and women of color.Center for Women's History and Culture is housed within the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library (RBMSCL) at Duke University.

Travel Funding to the Bingham Center:
Mary Lily Research Grants are available for research using the collections held by the Sallie Bingham Center.Grant money may be used for travel to the Rare Book, Manuscript, and Special Collections Library, costs of copying pertinent archival resources, and living expenses while pursuing research here. Jewish Women's Archive

The Jewish Women's Archive is an online effort to collect and documentall aspects of the history of American Jewish Women. The website includes access to primary source material and exhibits ofgreat breadth, such as "Jewish Women and the Feminist Revolution," "Katrina's Jewish Voices," online lesson plans, and avirtual archive searchable by name and occupation.

Established in 1994, the Women and Leadership Archives (WLA) collects, preserves, organizes, describes, and makes available materials of enduring value to researchers studying women's contributions to society. The collection includes the records and papers of women's organizations and women recognized as leaders in their respective fields. The WLA also has been working on the Women's Archives Mapping Project Directory, which is collecting information on archival repositories with women's collections. There are nearly 100 organizations currently listed.

As part of the Special Collections of UNLV Libraries, the Nevada Women's Archives project began in September 1994 to collect, preserve, and provide access to primary source materials documenting women's history in Southern Nevada. Materials resulting from women's activities in political, social, cultural, religious, commercial and economic life are the focus of the collection. The Archives collection includes legal papers, business and personal correspondence, family memorabilia, and family photo albums. Once collections are processed and cataloged, information is accessible through the library's catalog and through the World Wide Web to researchers not only in the community but also internationally.

The Library at the University of Nevada, Reno , began its Nevada Women's Archives Project in 1992. With the participation of the UNLV Libraries, the Nevada Women's Archives Project became truly a statewide effort to collect, to catalog, to preserve and to make accessible the records and the papers of Nevada women and women's organizations.
