Started in 1985, the purpose of the IAWA is to "document the history of women's contributions to the built environment by collecting, preserving, and providing access to the records of women's architectural organizations and the professional papers of women architects, landscape architects, designers, architectural historians and critics, and urban planners." Sallie Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture (Duke University) Durham, NC

The Sally Bingham Center for Women's History and Culture recently opened a new exhibit focusing on materials from the recently acquired Lisa Unger Baskin Collection. The exhibit, 500 Years of Women's Work: the Lisa Unger Baskin Collection will be on display to the public through June 14, 2019:

Women in Texas History

The Women in Texas History (WITH) is a project of the Ruthe Winegarten Memorial Foundation for Texas Women's History. Their web site provides a listing of archival collections located throughout the state, including the University of Texas System and Texas Woman's University. As only one example, the Dallas Public Library holds the papers and records of Dallas City Councilwomen Juanita Craft and Anita MartÃnez, theater director Margo Jones, the Business and Professional Women of Dallas, the Dallas Federation of Women's Clubs, and the Dallas League of Women Voters.
